Improving the Competence of Construction Workers in Rembang Area, SIG and Semen Gresik Hold Customer Meetings and Technical Guidance
Rembang, March 27th, 2024 – In welcoming Eid al-Fitr 1445 H, PT Semen Gresik in collaboration with PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) as the parent company held a customer gathering and technical guidance to 43 foremen and construction workers in Sulang sub-district, Rembang Regency and surrounding areas (27/3).
Senior Manager of Communication & CSR of PT Semen Gresik, Dharma Sunyata, explained that the agenda was a means to strengthen friendships as well as an effort to improve the competence of foremen and construction workers to be more skilled and professional.
"We introduce superior products from Semen Gresik and various SIG products and their derivatives. As well as holding a practical demonstration of direct product application. So, it can increase knowledge about the advantages of various types of cement products and their uses," he explained.
Dharma continued, with this gathering agenda, it is hoped that it can strengthen relations and strengthen the use of domestic products. "The use of Semen Gresik products and other SIG products by shop owners and construction workers, so that it becomes a form of support for the country in building the nation," he explained.
Besides providing training for construction experts, his party also provides consulting services regarding buildings related to technical, construction RAB, products, and building designs.
He added, that for the future target, the company is trying to expand the range of distribution of activities and expand the network of customers who receive this technical guidance.
Meanwhile, one of the participants from Sulang, Milin, admitted that he was happy and grateful for this activity. "It turns out that there are many advantages and functions that we just know from Semen Gresik products and various SIG products," he concluded.
